Hi, just moved to Singapore and looking for a place to live. The kids (aged 7 & 4) will be starting school at Tanglin Trust in Jan.

We're considering an apt in Camelot or Pebble Bay, but they seem pretty far from the school. Could any TTS parents living in either of these condos share their experience of the school run? Does a school bus pick up kids from these condos, and how long does the journey take to/from TTS?

Or should we be looking for more central condo..?

Yes, the school has a contracted bus company which picks up and drops off all over Singapore. Distance from the school is no indicator of pick up and journey times as a lot of the buses will fill up in one area then drive straight to school. Best bet is to call the bus office and check approximate journey times. We lived pretty close to the school - about 10- 15 minute drive and pick-up in the morning was still 7.05, same as if we had lived right across town. Your kids may start and finish at different times if the little one is still nursery or the older one is Year 3 - something else to check, as they may not be travelling together both ways.
