Simple question, but haven't found the answer.
I'm on an Employment Pass currently and enjoying my Mon-Fri job. However, some opportunities have come up to start a small business.
Can I start a business in Singapore while on an EP for another company? What is the procedure?
Or is it better to register the company with my wife who is on DP?

Agree, but just take a look at ebay.sg and all the "traders" on there. Do you think they are all registered companies and submitting tax returns etc?

I think it's better to register the biz in your wife's name, but she will need a LOC approval from MoM
