Hi Gang.

I am trying to find a great place to go for American-style breakfasts on sunday morning....Someplace aking to THE FLYING PAN in Hong Kong.

Does such a thing exist here or am i screwed? I heard there was a Denny's in Holland Village but there are conflicting reports about wether it is still open or not. Can anyone confirm?

Any pointers for where a Yankee boy can get some flapjacks, bacon and eggs would be great!

Spruce on Tanglin Road. It's tucked away up in the trees. Very popluar with expats. They have great breakfasts on the weekend. Big waffles and yummy eggs benny.

hey phil,

most hotels serve up a decent breakfast spread, though my personal fave's the line at shangri-la. goes without saying that it's gonna be tad pricey.

if you're going for a more conservative budget, a few other places i'd recommend include wild honey, jones the grocer, epicurious, marmalade pantry (scrambled eggs are to die for) and riders cafe. not sure about brewerkz's breakfasts, but i've heard some good things about it.

hope that helps!
