Currently I am working in singapore under EP. I am wondering whether to apply for SG PR or not. Cos In the near future I am planning to apply for Australian PR. One of my friends told me that, if u apply Auzie PR with SG PR, there a chance that Auzie PR will get rejected and better hang on with PAP or EP. Can any one tell me the accuracy of this infor?
Thanks!

Where are you planning on living? RP = Permanent RESIDENT, ie, you plan to stay.

Oh dear . . .
Ask yourself, as SE pointed out, where you want to live. Why are you applying for PR in Singapore and why would you wish to apply for PR in Australia?
Ask the Oz High Comm in Delhi

Ok, I checked . . .
Australia and Singapore have a 'common obfuscation agreement' in place which states that no-one may apply for and then receive Permanent Residence from one country if they have successfully or unsuccessfully applied from the other.
Both Singapore and Australia have the same agreements in place with most other countries, the exceptions being Papua New Guinea and Bulgaria.
So, you may apply for PR in PNG and Bulgaria simultaneously, but not in conjunction with either or Oz and Singapore.
One more exception is if you are a n Indian or PRC national . . . you may apply for each other's PR according to an agreement that went into effect on the 27th of September 1999
