Anyone got info on what's current if one wants to hear some live Jazz, Latino or other quality live music on a Saturday night ? Appreciate any info and whether tickets, reservations etc are needed. Thanks, Oz

Jazz@Southbridge will be a pretty good bet for you. Unless they happen to have special guests in that night, there is no door price.

Harry's at Boat Quay is another popular choice.
Blu Jaz. 11 Bali Lane, on Beach Road is pretty cool too.
"Expect no less than the best, after gadget jam last week, Aya brings uber talented peeps on stage with Dawn Ho on vox, Andrew Klein on bass, Wen on drums and of course, Aya on keys….. In her words: prepare yourself to get soaked deep in our music. 9:30pm @ Cafe"

jazz@southbridge is in the process of moving to a new location, can remember off hand but I'll find out. Should be reopened by the end of the month

Live@Bojangles opened in Tanglin Shopping Centre a couple of months ago and is quite good fun. Be careful though, it doesn't close till late...

There is a good jazz bar at the top floor of SwissHotel...
Excellent view, great ambiance, fantastic music albeit a pricey menu
