Hi everyone !

We are a young couple French-Singapourean 23 years old and we search flatmates to live with around the Clementi area. We search for prices around 700 $ for both. We are cool and really open-minded.

If you are interested, please write us.

See ya,

Charly and Flo

Hi there,

For just S$700 you get a single room, not a flat.
Is that what you want?
There are online forums and classifieds sites with such ads. property agents don't like to deal with sublet rooms (cannot make much money) and are mostly not worth their fees anyway.

Good luck,
Frank

Hi,

yes we're looking for a room for the 2 of us, budget ard S$700 (all inclusive). We're not really sure how much is the market rate around Clementi or nearby areas nowadays. Any idea? :)

Will be nice if we can find like-minded people (flatmates) who are interested in renting a flat or appartment together/ or anyone like-minded who happens to have a room for rent around our budget.

We hope to skip the agents because they really don't do too much anyways and any money saved is good money...

Hope to hear any suggestion on how to hunt a room.

Cheers,
Flo & Charly

She said she's already willing to compromise that (as long as she's not there when the bird is cooked). :D

EDIT: Only saw it now. She needs to move this month. Tsk.

definitely good to have contracts. owners may seem nice at first but a few months later if something breaks down and they need to foot the bill, they might push the blame to you and you can end up paying for nothing. also good if you want to move to greener pastures after 6 months (one month notice).

they might increase your rent by 50-100$ any random month and say "oh electricity tariffs went up by 0.5%"
