Childcare / Kindy in East Coast

Hi,

We live in Telok Kurau and our 9 month old boy is definitely ready for some regular social interaction with kids of his own age. We have a helper so dont need childcare as such, just somewhere that he can go once or twice a week for half a day or so to play and socialise.
We know of a couple of places in Tanglin but its a bit of a trek and so ideally we'd like to find somewhere in the East that he could go. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Telok Kurau, Katong, Joo Chiat are all fine and Siglap would be possible.

Thanks in advance

There's Poliwogs on the East Coast which is $8 for unlimited play in the week or you could go to a more structured play session at JWT - went their today for a trial and my boy loved it. I also go to Royce at Liang Court - allot more to do than the free play at Gymboree. I'm also on the East Coast and have got used to travelling around to all these places.

hey there I'm new too and there are quite a few options available. There are the New Mothers Support Group outings and also they have a playdate finder http://www.nmsg-singapore.com/playgroup ... dsheet.htm where you can put your particulars in but so far no one has contacted me from that. There's also a Babies, Bumps and Tots Facebook page that is quite helpful if you're a member and lastly the most active one for me since I've come is the playgroup singapore website. its playgroup.ning.com So far I have connected with quite a few mums living in my area but coz of my travel schedule I have not met any of them. Hope this helps
