nearby beach

well..man.. 
the nearest long stretches of beach i find favorable than singapore is desaru, lots of resorts around and when i feel like going cheap, just go to the public access... nice small resto there, lay a mat and spend the whole day.
need own transport though. public bus goes go to nearby small town from larkin JB terminal, but unreliable hours make it a gamble going desaru for day trip.
