Hi there,
My boyfriend is a Chinese national and I'm a Singaporean Chinese. After we register our marriage, how easy is it for him to get PR and what documents are necessary for him to apply for PR? Any tips to expedite the process? Any prerequisites? I would appreciate all helpful comments. Many thanks!

economic contributions, qualifications, and years of stay in Singapore will be taken into consideration for PR.

My understanding is that marriage is pretty much irrelevant for PR status, esp. for men. He can now apply for a long-term non-working visa on account of being married to you, but he will still need to have worked in Singapore on an EP for some time to qualify for PR.

How about for women? Is it easiler for them to get PR? How easy for the first time application to approve? Any idea?
