yu jie: are you still having mandarin/english meetups? i'm australian chinese and my mandarin is not that great. i am looking to brush up on mandarin with a beijing accent. are you from china? that would be a great help.

I just moved to Singapore from HK and I would like to learn Mandarin since left and right people speak Mandarin here.

I would like to make some new friends as well.
I don't speak Singlish. I need someone that I can chit chat in English.
I had lived in the U.S. for my studies and currently professional translator in Singapore.

I wud like to learn Mandarin.

English has been my main language throughout the education though i'll still have to look at the books to refresh my core grammer
