Singapore Expats

Hi all
Just wondering how difficult it is to find work in Singapore. My wife has been employed for 2 years and I will be looking for work. I currently work as a clerk but I am open to anything. My experience has been in the hosptal and disability fields but again I am open to a new challenge. I will be arriving in Singapore in January.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

If you have healthcare qualifications, then sounds like it may not be too bad to get a job here.......

Thanks for that happygolucky, but I have no speciality. I have clerical and Occ Heath & Safety experience in hospitals . I have taken a look on the site and I will continue to look.

Theres one thing you should watch out for though. Being an Aussie probably means you have some sort of criminal record right? Bread stealing perhaps

i'm a filipina college grad looking for work opportunity in singapore, preferrably one that is people-oriented, for instance customer service. what are the chances of finding a job there?

i'm currently home in manila, working on project basis with a government department. i speak fluent english, but not chinese. any good lead? thanks.

You need to get a job first before you come to Singapore to work. Foreigners need a work permit to work here. So, you can't just come to Singapore to find a job like a local. No one will employ you without a work permit. So, get a job first and the company is likely to get the work permit done for you.
