Favourite local places to bring your children

Hi everyone,
What are some of the places in Singapore that parents can bring their children to during the weekends or holidays?
I will state some of my ideas. Hope you guys can share yours too!
1. Changi Airport
- New four storey slide at T3 (2 free rides can be redeemed for every $30 spent)
- Shorter slide at basement 2 of T3 (free)

and many more ideas on that website. there's also a book called "fun for kids in singapore". worth getting a copy as it's quite comprehensive, including where to go for all sorts of enrichment lessons and camps for kids.

Singapore Science Center and the Discovery Center--my 8 year old loves spending the whole day at both places--plus free parking!!

Go-go bambini at Dempsy road has a nice indoor playground for kids while parents can lounge around at the cafe. admission is betwwen 13 - 17 for unlimited play. My kids love it there!

We visited last weekend a place called Kid's Kampong. (
http://www.prkidskampong.com/). Children can there interact with or see some small farm animals. It is a very basic setting but the entrance is $1 per person only and there are not that many similar places in Singapore. Within the area of probably 30m x 10m there are some caged or fenced rabbits, ducks, hens/roosters, parrots and freely accessible to the kids tons of koi fish in a shallow pond. The price include a small bag of food for the animals. You can easily google out some family blogs with photos to get a better idea.
