My valve amplifier needs a repair guy.

My first thought was Adelphi tower but does anyone know of any repair shops for stereo electronics?

Second or third floor of Sim Lim Tower (kaddy corner from Sim Lim Square) has a small firm that specializes in tube amplifiers and the like. Pretty good place.

There are couple of valve rein Adelphi in the basement and I remember seeing one valve amp place on the ground floor inside the mall next to to Sim Lim, think its called Burlington place or arcade.

Problem is that stereo stores normally don't fix real problems except replacing a tube or adjusting bias or something simple like that.

No repair men out there?

The people I mentioned in Sim Lim Tower ARE repair people... and deal exclusively in tube amps and repairs... you'll like the place.

Yep, walked past it a few weeks ago. As a high-end (high maintenance lol?) hi-fi kinda guy myself, the place in Burlington looks like the real deal...

Similar question, different device: could you recommend a place for fixing the subwoofer's amplifier? Elac brand if this matters.

The place mentioned in Burlington looks like the kinda place that could do it, reassuringly ungrabby and unflashy. You know it is not a glamour-boutique, rather .... oh.... yer know I'd ask in Burlington, then check next door at Sim Lim too.

I know this is a long shot but does anyone know where I could get a Linn power amp repaired. One channel seems to have given up the ghost.

Thanks in advance,
Alan
