in singapore for summer break

hey, i'm 17 and looking forward to meeting new people. will be in singapore till early aug (if university transfer is successful).
planning to major in politics and international relations, but i enjoy literature and music.
cultural exchanges would be lovely. i've resided in quite a few places before (mostly in asia, vietnam being a particular fav) and might be planning a trip to australia adelaide.
i'm quite familiar with singapore (relatively) since i lived here until i was 11 or 12. have had friends from tanglin and sas but they graduated last year and most of them are staying in england/usa during their summer breaks.
