Singapore Expats

Hey Y'all. I am 22 going on 23 (student/teacher) and I am finding Singapore a hard place to get to know people who are fun, friendly, nice, outgoing, yada2. I am just a laid back girl from outer space, no, really, I am from Indonesia and have been living there, Singapore and Australia. I am interested in anything but insects, drugs and alcohol (all of which you can find in dirty CQ). I used to club and bar but that was a phase and gone over are the days of being hanged and talking to people you have no idea why you are talking to them in the first place. Anyways, I am into music, sports, fashion, good food and good films/movies/concerts, Europe and languages. PM me or reply here if you're interested in making more friends like me.

If you are a student, maybe try consider concentrating on your studies first rather than worrying who to hang out with. You know very well all the shits going on around you so im sure you are smart enough not to meet people who cant live without going to CQ os St james on a Friday nights.

I second that! I've been here more than 1/2 a year and found that it is hard to meet someone to hang out with as I just usually travel between work and home.. not much of an opportunity to meet new people around. Im in a similar boat, feel your pain about the CQ effect. looking to meet ppl to chill out with cos i love music, the amazing food here, movies, random wanderings, etc.

I am 26/M, recently moved out here from UK, grew up in Sydney mainly. work keeps me busy and makes it hard to meet much of a diverse crowd.
