Hi,
I am new to the forum.So much interested in Singapore immigration.
I am a MBBS Doctor,having 17 years of experience in medicine.How can I immigrate there?
Can I apply for LPR scheme?
Guide me please.

A good place to start would be the Ministry of Health and the related sites. First of all you would need to determine if your degree would even be recognized here. (please don't get you dander up - NO Indian DDS can practice in Singapore). You did not indicate where your degree was obtained.

Once you have determined IF you can practice here, you might want to then apply for the LPR (Landed PR) Scheme

or apply for an EPEC or PEP and come over here to look for something

That should be enough reference material to keep you busy for a hour or two. After that, if we can be of further help, we'll certainly try.

If you are a doctor, you need to register yourself with Singapore Medical Council. You need to sit for an exam in order to qualify yourself to be recognise here. Only a small handful of countries is recognise in SG and their route to practise here is shorter.
If you studied in Pakistan, you will need to be vetted. This is the link

YES,I THINK I COULDN'T GET ANY JOB THERE.DUE TO THEIR STRICT RULES.SO BETTER TO FORGET SINGAPORE IMMIGRATION.

Hello:
I am an ophthalmologist and I graduated from med school and grad school in South America. My school is NOT in the list of registrable institutions in the SMC webiste (though for list specialties I keep getting a message that the webpage is being updated).

I am licensed for practicing in Spain (recognized by the Ministry of Health there), would that help ?

Does anyone know if there is a possibility of getting registration? Maybe if I can accepted in a fellowship program me there does anyone know if that make a difference ?

It's very hard for me after all those years invested in my studies not being able to practice and I understand every country must enforce strong regulations to prevent untrained professionals harm patients. Having said that I wish there's a way they can individualize the cases of MD wanting to practice there.

I never understood why the medical profession has so many country-specific regulations, given that the human body doesn't differ much between nations. But reality seems to be that you'd have to invest "all those years in studies" in the same country you want to practise in afterwards.
