whats the best way to get to Redang... I was thinking of taking Berjaya Air, is it safe... looks so tiny compared to other planes.

I visited Redang Island last October. I booked the resort myself and traveled by bus by Five Stars Tours and Travels. If you wanna travel by air you can try Fireflyz
http://www.fireflyz.com.my/ they have flights from Singapore to Terengganu

berjaya air is the only airline flying straight into redang island

alternatively you can travel to kuala terengganu using firefly airline, then a 75-mins ferry ride to redang island

both airlines use propeller aircrafts. i personally have not used any of the 2, but i've friends who had n they gave good feedbacks
may be worthwhile for u to check out holiday packages at berjaya-air website, its all inclusive (airfares+full board+transfer+snorkeling trips)
