I believe most of the cases for plastic surgery are for a quick fix but there are many cases that are for the real deal, meaning to repair something or improve something like breathing. People do judge others on looks and it is a automatic response but in the long run looks alone will not keep people near by. JW

JW, go to the girl's profile and check out her posting history. I'm of the impression she has symptoms of "a sandwich short of a picnic". :-k

why go for tis tat when u do not have it naturally ?

Envy? It is not as if u are that hideous and hv to transform into another image to make ya feel better,

or is it the lust of the flesh at work ?
Common reason is to make yourself look more attractive. Tell you I didn't had boyfriend since 2003 and now I am 34 yo already ! I am quite slim but there are a lot of slim ladies in sillypore, just take MRT at peak hours and see people dress beautifully. And I also can see the attractive ladies normally found boyfriend easier and faster.

Hence I am considering to do dimples creation. Double eyelid / BA in the future if I got enough savings. If got adfordable surgery to increase height I also want to do it. My ex French bf said that I am too short ( he is 191 cm, I am 154 cm). I met many guys both Asian or caucasians who just consider me as common friend and I am still single until now.

I always thinking to improve myself. I see men only want to date beautiful girls. FYI I have pretty young female colleague(s) or housemate(s) who is quite choosy in boyfriend preference. Moreover pretty young ladies normally has "kanasai" attitude becos they know that they are pretty and lotsa guys wanting them.

Looks?

Are you implying that men go with women on looks alone? My opinion is yes looks do count but looks alone will not make a relationship. looks might help for the first couple of dates or sexual encounters but will not be enough for a lasting or in creating a relationship. Are you a shy woman? Do you lack confidence, do you know what you want and when you get it do you know how to keep it? JW

:console:

I've met some girls who, admittedly are not pretty, but there's something about them that makes them attractive.

Back in the farming country where I came from we have a couple of saying that could be applied in situations like this.....

One..... No matter what you do, you cannot make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

Two.... Beauty is only skin deep but ugly goes all the way to the bone.

All the physical beauty you possess or purchase will not cover up an ugly, bitter or mean demeanor. It's all in the presentation and quality and not necessarily the packaging.

Nevermind, 30 years on they will likely look like MJ. :o

Exactly, once i got to know them something became apparent that wasnt there before. In time through communication and mutual understandings more and more became seen and appreciated. JW

does 'not pretty' = 'butt-ugly'?
I assume you are talking abt the plain ones whom carry themselves with a lot of confidence.
what abt those whom everyone will consider ugly? not many guys will even spare the time to get to know these people better...

Are you talking about everything looks good but her face? Or you talking about fat, unkept and plain ugly? Palin ugly and fat can be hard but theres many men who will like that as long as they carry themselves well, have respect for themselves and have a nice personality. Plain ones are great especially if they have wit, humor and can enjoy the pleasures that life has to offer. JW

Those kind of guys a girl doesn't need. If a guy is that shallow, there not too much to build a relationship on is there? I mean the guy is more interested in himself apparently and if he is looking for a certain "look" he is not interested in the girl except as eye candy or window dressing. e.g., what will make him look better. Rather pathetic in my opinion. But each to his own I guess. Eventually, much to their dismay, they will learn that looks don't account for anything at all.
