Relocating to district 09 (what's current market like ?)

Hi everyone,

I am currently looking for a flat in a condo in the district 09. More precisely, I am looking for something between Clark Quay and Orchard.

I should arrive in Singapore by the end of October but I already made a lot of search and, as I am looking for a 3 bedrooms flat (I can't make up my mind to live by myself :D) , prices may varie from 4000 to 4500 dol (with no commission to pay i guess...).

I don't find it particularly expensive as condos I am looking for have some great facilities available...but I can't form an idea of the current market, of the current ratio buyers / renters !

Do you think it will be difficult for me to find people to rent the place with me ?

Do you have any place in mind where I could find my future roomates ?

Any advice welcome.

Cheers,

Skyreez.

It is easy to sublet rooms in the S$600-1000 price range using Internet classified sites. (But first make sure the landlord allows you to sublet - many don't!)
Anything above that will probably not work - most people wouldn't rent one room at a price that can almost give you a full flat (with privacy) in another area (they start at S$1500).
