If anybody can help me out with some info on this issue for a SPR friend of
================================================
mine living abroad :
=============
My friend's wife (also SPR) is pregnant for 12 weeks now and they
would like to move to Singapore for their child's delivery towards
the advanced stage of her pregnancy.
His queries are:
1) Is there any issue to get admitted to NUH for their child's delivery if they
move to Singapore during her advanced stage?
2) How should they go about for admission process if they would like to
avail the subsidized billing facility for Singapore Permanent Residents?

You need a local sponsor in order for her to give birth in SG
These are the requirement transcript
* Applicant is required to have a valid Visit Pass during the stay in Singapore.
* A local sponsor (Singapore Citizen/ Singapore Permanent Resident/ Representative of a Singapore-registered company above 21 years old) is required to be present for the submission of all necessary documents for the application of long term Visit Pass. Incomplete submission of documents will result in non-acceptance of the application at the counter.
* The applicant and the local sponsor may be requested to turn up for an interview.
* All original documents, submitted in support of the applications, must be presented for verification. Official translation of the documents is required if they are not in the English language.
* Applicant and sponsor will have to furnish additional documents and information whenever necessary.
* ICA may share your personal information with other Government agencies to process any applications you have made or to render you a service, so as to serve you in a most efficient and effective way, unless such sharing is prohibited by legislation.
* If the application is subsequently approved, local sponsor/applicant will receive an In-Principle Approval letter that is valid for 1 month from the date of the letter.
* A medical check-up is required by the Ministry of Health for all applications for a Visit Pass of 6 months or more. The applicant will only be informed of the need to go for a medical check-up if approval is granted. This requirement is not applicable to an applicant below 15 years old.
Get this done first.
You have to remember if she is on a third trimester , she may be denied boarding the flight to SG .
NUH or SGH or KK Hospital can assist you on the subsidize billing i.e Medishield or Medisave. Even private hospital provide this like Mount Elizabeth , Thompson and Gleneagles. So admission to hospital is not an issue. You have to get AIP for her LTVSP first.
Once born her hubby can get the child a SPR by virtue of being a PR here.
Please remember if he is under PTS scheme, and if the unborn child is a male, the child will need to serve NS when the child turns 18 under 2nd Gen PR.
If hubby does not want that , the child need a PP applied with 42 days of child birth
