Singapore Expats

Hi, my 7 year old nephew Jadin ishere from the US for the month of August and need some serious help. I'm looking for things for him to do but all I seem to be coming up with is the zoo and Sentosa stuff. I would like him to be able to take more of a part in things that will lead him to friendships here as opposed to just hanging out with my husband and I. Things like soccer teams (any sports actually) camp kind of stuff.

I'm in the River Valley area but nothing is to far for me to make sure he enjoys himself. If your new to Singapore and have children his age I'm happy to get together for some lunch or coffee maybe a sit by the pool or if you have been here for a while and would like to get to know a new person I'm available.

What does he enjoy doing at home? There should be activities like that around here. He'll also probably meet kids just hanging around the pool (if you have one where you live).
