Anyone know where you can get freshly baked bagels and freshly made cream cheese (scallion preferably) here? Does it exist?

I've seen fresh bagels at Cold Storage - you can get them from the deli counter.

A quick google searc turned up this:

I'd check a few blogs (I've found Travelling Hungryboy to be usually spot on with his recommendations) to figure out the degree of authenticity. Considering you're from NYC I know you won't want to be disappointed.

A salt-beef bagel!? Can't say I've had one of those before. Tho could be persuaded. Usually have it on rye...
Thinking...
Toasted FRESH onion bagel. Sourkraut, Russian dressing, beef, melted Emmental on top.
Mmmm

k, talking about bagels, my kids love these and so does the wife!
1 x multi grain bagel
Turkey and/or beef Pastrami
American French's Mustard (english mustard turns the kids to quivering wrecks)
Philadelphia (original)
Sun dried Tomatoes
Cut the bagel in half, toast them and then spread the philiadelphia over both halfs of the bagel, add a few drops of mustard and then the sun dried tomatoes (chopped in tiny pieces) and then top it all off with pastrami.
Put both halves together and much away, goes great with some crisps and/ or nacho's!

I have bought from
http://www.nycbagelfactory.com/ by the dozen and they're not too bad. They deliver too.
Else, you could also get bagels from cold storage or Fair Price Finest.

Yes, I ended up ordering them from NYC Bagel Factory too.. not bad. I didn't realize they are sold everywhere like at Tanglin, FairPrice Finest etc....They were ok...a little rubbery though and the cream cheese was not really that fresh - I love scallions mixed fresh into the cream cheese....I wish the bagels had been bigger and fluffier.....we could barely cut them in half...
I am from New York so I am bit critical about my bagels, cream cheese and ice coffees!
