We just moved to Singapore and and need recommendations for Special Needs schools and doctors.
My 11-year old daughter's condition does not have a name but she has microcephaly. She does not speak but is verbal. She walks only with the aid of a walker. She suffers from sporadic seizures.
While she does not have autism, she does have autistic characteristics and responds to educational methods used for autistic kids.
We are looking for schools, doctors, and therapists (physical, speech & occupational).
If you have any recommendations, suggestions, leads, please let me know.
Thanks

That's not possible, guess it is a typing error. If she doesn't speak, she is not verbal. However, she may use AAC device to communicate with others.

Are you looking for a private school? Do you want to have all the therapies under one roof or are you OK with separate centres that provide the ST, PT and OT?

You may visit this website http://www.iapsg.com/ and contact other parents in Sg, they may give you the best recommendations.
