Singapore Expats

Mm....I knew I would.....don't miss the heat, but miss everything else, cheap taxis, cheap bus fares, choice in supermarkets, especially fruit, no graffitit, Changi airport, all the generally friendly folk in Sg.....mm I miss Sing.
Just been through Scandinavia again with Ozbroiler, and we are pretty shocked at the number of smokers there and here in De too. But there are some bonuses for sure. The obvious ones like cooler weather, lots of greenery, and nearby travel options, albeit damned expensive. Groceries too are generally much cheaper here in De. And I'm getting into the Deutch although the locals are generally ok with English if I make some effort in Deutch. Got my deadly treadly down in the 'kellar' and gonna hit the local 'mountain' tomorrow.

Are you saying Singaporeans don't smoke? You must have been to a different Singapore than the one I'm living in.

Yes, this problem is everywhere!

Good is that in some places are great smoking restriction policies, so we no-smokers can live smoke free.
