Singapore Expats

Hey!

We have just arrived in Singapore (last week!!) and once we have got over our 4am jetlag wakeup calls, it would be great to get together with some other couples for drinks and a bite to eat.

Our main love is food and finding out new hidden gems to sample and obviously it would be rude not to sample an accompanying drink or two!!

We tried out the Wednesday Night Drinking Club last night. Some good people. I think we'll go back next week.

Anyway, we like restaurants, bars and cultural stuff... Would be good to meet new people.

My husband (Singaporean) and I (Filipino) are also in our 30's and would love to meet up with other couples.

We are usually looking for people to play tennis with us during Sunday afternoon at our condo (Hougang). We also love to watch movies and we love to explore and find good places to eat and have drinks.

Im trying to convince my boyfriend to come and join me in Sing - he has stayed behind in the UK for now but is visiting 28 Jan - 6 Feb. So if any couple events take place that week please let me know.

Looking particularly for anyone that has relocated over here as an engineer. My other half is a systems validation engineer in the car manufacturing industry.. obviously there arent that many cars made in Sing so would have to make a change to Ships/Planes maybe. Any ideas of good engineering employment agencies or anyone done the switch themselves?
