Singapore Expats

Hey there mates,

Pardon me for my usage of english if its bad.
I need views for business concepts in some way or other.
What business in singapore could be the most rewarding one,of course
it doesn't depends on the type of business i want to do.

Is a cleaning services,catering services or waste management company good in singapore?I love to be clean thus wanting to create a company that is able to keep Singapore as clean as possible though.

After saying that,I might be still too young to be an entrepeuneur,because i am only 20 this year,but im looking far.Been researching in stuffs,committed myself in gaining more knowledge each time.However the main factor that is restricting me is experience.Due to my age,i certainly believe my experience in being an entrepuneur is limited,so i would need some pointers or suggestion of people that is experienced wise in this factor.Since young i always wanted to be a successful person not depending on parents,so i hope to prove myself and i believed i will. =)

I would love to hear any advice or comments though.
Be it constructive or not,I am more willing to accept it.

There are lots of opportunities out there, a booming world market in emerging new green industries on the doorstep, I would research in Taiwan if i was you, they are the first that I know of that have turned plastic bottles into a billion$ industry producing textiles from recycled waste and building earthquake proof buildings. Now that is innovation that makes Countries, so you should be looking at a few years in Taiwan, for your innovative experience, they are the best in Asia, though they have built on their past to achieve these results. Much more difficult for a new Country, with little past experience so travel and live for a year or two with people that have that vibe for innovation and technology. I even met one at the Taiwanese Food festival that had made his own desert, with mushroom and dates. Creativity is in us all, it just needs developing, throw away the blinkers, and try new things is the way, to shape the vision.

In order to be good in a business, you have to do something better (or cheaper) than others (e.g. the competition).
I believe that somebody at 20 years of age does not yet know what he/she is good at. I certainly didn't.
That's mainly where experience comes in: By trying something, you not only learn how to do it, you also realize if you are good at it - and if you enjoy doing it.
Thus my advice: Go into an area that interests you, as employee, and do it for a few years. Try to do it well. If you fail, or don't like it, don't be disheartened: The way to success is stony, long and often boring - and sometimes you have to switch course and start anew!
Also, have no illusions: Running your own business means much longer hours, more risk than being employed, and does not automatically lead to riches. (Most business start-ups fail, leaving the owner poorer than before!)
If you value stability over roller-coaster adventures, or if you plan to put more effort into other things than work (hobbies, travelling, family, etc.), then you might be better off working in a company that is not yours, but offers a decent salary and regulated working hours. You can be just as successful and financially rewarded there, if you do a good job, and there is nothing wrong with such a decision.

That said, I agree with ksl about Taiwan: Great place, nice and pragmatic people, good environment and a creative atmosphere that makes many things possible, rather than stifling initiative as other places seem to do.
I enjoyed it and wouldn't mind working there again!

That's something really useful for me.
However for a 20 year old guy,something is restricted to me.
Any advice where should i start from?
Might be a new guy trying to do something new,i been looking up on stuffs on such things and still getting no clue where to begin with.
