Hi All
I havent been here too long but havent been that interested in going out despite being a regular clubber in other countries. I am thinking of starting a night here, but be interested to know
Whats missing do you think?
Is it?
Well known dj's?
Environments?
The music?
The differentiator?
Be interested to hear your thoughts?

Whats missing? Interesting people.
When you live in a environment where the bulk of the population live in controlled Government housing and believe getting Straight A in maths is the ultimate goal.
Fun and letting your hair down is not going to be high on the populations list.
Put it this way you can have the best DJ in the world at an accountants conference, and it will always end up as an accountant conference.

Ha ha I get ya. But at the end of day we are talking about ex-pats and not the rest of the population who could live for a week as a pose to buying a singapore sling at raffles.

Ah. It really depends on where you go to find them interesting people. Besides, you gotta be somewhat interesting yourself to attract the same level of interesting-ness.
What's missing is the friendly, laid-back ease which I found in other clubs in South-east Asia. Most clubs in Singapore can be too hoity-toity, with ridiculously strict dress codes and curt staff.
A club can have an epic sound system and banging songs but if the staff and crowd are more interested in being snobbish and flashy as opposed to enjoying the music and letting it all hang out, then that sucks.

totally agree with adibahhhhhh! good points!
music wise i miss house electro music, whilst i like all types of music there's too much rnb top 40 pop music here and not enough electro. the places that i know that do have electro r too much like what adibahhhhhh was saying that it just turns me off. not sure if im going to the wrong places tho i dont get out as much lately so definitely welcome any advice! KM8 @ sentosa used to be okay.
