New to Singapore

I just arrived in Singapore a couple of weeks ago. I like to get out and explore to take pictures, but hate doing it alone.

I use a Nikon D90 which I 100% love. You can push up the iso to 2500 and still not see the grain on photos unless you blow them upto A3 size. It came with an 18-105 lens, but I bought a Nikon 50mm F1:4 lens .... it is a great combination.
Nikon are coming out with a new model soon, the D7000, but it is expensive. If I had the money I would buy one for sure. use it for my 50mm lens, and mount the zoom lens back on the D90

Second the Nikon recommendations. Nikon D700's here and far too much invested in Nikkor lenses!
Bear in mind the difference between FX and DX before making your investments. See

Nak - We're out of country on an assignments/missions (as bloody usual!) throughout DEC/JAN. Would be good to catch up finally though.
