Singapore Expats

Hello All -

I just arrived last Sunday from the states. I'm a 23 year old male Electrical Engineer that will be working here for the next 8 months. As you can guess I know next to no one outside my work circle at this point.

What I would like is to try and organize is a little get together for anyone that is interested in meeting others in a similar situation. I propose we meet up at Ice-Cold B's this Saturday night but I am open to other suggestions:

ICB's has a great selection of beer (38 types) so everyone should be able to find something they like. Hoping to find 5-10 people that are interested. Post if you are up for it. The more the merrier.

All are welcome! I'll be heading over there around 8:30-9:00 and staying most of the night. From the feedback I am getting it looks like we will have somewhere around 7-10 people meeting up, possibly more. Most are new comers to the Island, feel free to invite anyone who may be interested!

That's me in the photo, only change is I have short hair now. Stop over and say Hi or give me a call if you are more comfortable with that.

I have had some questions about where to find this place. It is located at 50 Stamford Road part of the School of Business (don't worry you dont need to be a student). The closest train station is the City Hall interchange for the NS and EW lines (its about 1.5 blocks away).
