Hey there,
I have been watching said show on Cable TV. Is there anywhere in Singapore that lays down an obscene food challenge? I'm talking quantity rather than quality, although an overlap would be most welcome!
Cheers

Thanks a lot Brittany!
I think I am going to train for that, will try to take that bad boy down later next month...I tried the Windows 7 burger in Japan, that had >700g of beefiness, but it was too dry and that killed me...
Do you know anyone else who has tried it?

You must have been lucky that you got some lean, dry beef as opposed to their >50% fat, disgusting, more white than red excuse for beef... in which case I'd be more worried about being killed by the muck being built up in my arteries.
Funny how we have exact opposite opinions from them on what we consider to be quality beef.

Actually, the Windows 7 burger was a Burger King product, hence the meat was more cardboard than 'lean dry beef'. If it was a proper moist gourmet burger meat, that would be a different story altogether!

Dear Sir,
Looks like you are a serious competitor.
The new york burger is not too much, you can finish in 10 mins.. the fries should weigh in about 600g-800grams and oily. it is not like mac donald or burger king fries. it is the bigger wedge like tye.
As for other challenges, yesterday was a pasta eating competition at cafeindulge. winner ate 650grams of pasta in 58 secs.
The next event is the jade abalone challenge (competition may be closed).
Please pm me or add me in facebook if you want the details to enter.

This guy is getting fatter as the seasons progress. I really hope he is getting paid well because he's gonna have a stroke or diabetes soon.
All that being said.. the show is pretty entertaining
My gf even took her mum to nyc just so they could eat at some seafood restaurant they had seen on that show.
