Scuba Diving in Bali

Some friends and I are going for a holiday in Bali and want to take a day trip to do some scuba diving. Are PADI OW qualified. We will be staying in Seminyak, but OK to start early / late to get the sites.
Can anyone recommend the best dive site(s) in Bali for a day trip? The company we are speaking with recommend either Tepekong/Mimpang/Blue Lagoon or Nusa Penida. Interested in seeing large / unusual marine life and coral more than wrecks.
