Hello,

I have a friend that makes high quality wood products in the US, stuff like cabinets tables things like that. The stuff is great quality and he uses environmentally friendly building methods that leave a smaller carbon foot print. Does anyone know how he can sell here?

Any help, tips , info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Rob

The carbon footprint is easily destroyed by shipping such bulky items half way around the world!

Apart from that, go to any shop selling Indonesian teak to see what prices your friend would have to compete with. Admittedly, theirs is mostly badly made junk, but people here will not pay much premium for quality.
Transport for individual items is also prohibitively expensive - he would have to ship full container loads by sea freight to make it affordable.

There is only one way to sell in Singapore, and that is to make a marketing and sales plan and go for it, your target market needs to be identified
