It just one endless humid sticky hot season with the occasional flooding...... I`m actually missing the seasonal changes back home. :(

I`ve been confined to an aircon world for the past 12 months - at work - aircon - in the car - aircon - mrt - aircon - shopping malls - aircon - at home - aircon - even when i go to the gym at my condo - aircon - this seriously cant be good for my health...... :???:

I am missing it too but stopped noticing this air stickiness 2 weeks after I arrived. No apparent health effects after few good years so far but at home we use fans practically all the time and hardly any time aircon. Could be of individual tolerance. Actually before I came here I expected something much worse. I don't like hot weather at all so I am definitely in a wrong place :)

Mankind originated in tropical areas and thus is naturally well-prepared for such temperatures year-round. It is modern crutches like air-con that are bad for your health, not the sticky heat!
(Think about it: Who is more likely to get sick - a Singaporean without aircon or a Canadian without heating?)

Just switch off the aircon and adapt naturally to the climate, it takes a while but quite easy. Use a fan in the home, and set the aircon for 1 hr just for sleeping. My problem i smy internal clock still on European time after 6 years  Though I don't have to be up early in the mornings  but rarely use aircon, its real bad for the airways.

The next few months should be cooler and more windy, almost Mediterranean. That is, after we've cleared the rainy spell, which, I hear, could be a bit of a lingering one this La Nina year.

Still, from January to March, expect, crisp blue skies and fresh breezes :)

I love the rainy season - it can actually feel a bit chilly sometimes :)

True hate to admit that I am a softy but I had a cardi on at the outdoor driving range a few weeks ago it was a bit chilly!

Anyway think of the good the humidity is doing to your skin you don't age as much out here.
