so ryan did the Malacca trip happen? How is the place? Im exploring places to visit for the CNY holidays, any info will help.

I was burglarized in Malacca two years ago. First time that's ever happened in my travels. Once out and back in KL I did some googling and read about the modern day pirates in the straights of Malacca that commandeer ships with machine guns. If you go, be safe.

I was burglarized in Shanghai 2 years ago as well.
huh? machine guns? I think tats too much to be worried about
