Personalised Employment Pass

Hi Everyone,
I am currently filling out an application for a Personalised Employment Pass and have two questions. I have search and search google and the MOM website to try and find the answer but I have not had much luck.

I live in Australian and have not got a job yet but fall into the manager category earning over $7000 per month, therefore, can apply without a job.

1. As I am in Australia, I do not have a Singapore address. Is it ok to leave this blank?

2. I dont not have a local contact person. I believe it is ok that I do not have this but this questions says that if you do not have a local person you must provide a valid address for correspondence in Part 1A (which is the question asking for your Singapore Address). How do I get around this or are there representatives that you can pay a minimal fee for this service.

Any help would be greatly appreciated because I feel I am going round and round in circles. :)

Thanks
Dana

These has been discussed endlessly Go the search link on the right hand corner under the profile link. Type PEP and you will find what you are looking for.

Thanks Mad scientist. I have done searched on these forums but can not find any answers to my two specific questions above. The two post you gave did not talk about this specific issue.

Do you or does anyone else know how I would handle the two issues mentioned in my post above.

I have spent quite a lot of time looking but can't find an answer. I really appreciate anyone's assistance.

Cheers
Dana

The answer is that you need to find a local contact here to act as you mail drop. There are none that I know of that provide a service per se, but you could probably approach most any serviced office provider and for the right amount of dosh, get them to do so. Otherwise you are going to need to find a contact in Singapore to act as your conduit as you must have a local contact address. You could ask some of the Aussies here on the board to do so, and maybe there is a kind soul that will do it. Doesn't hurt to ask.

You better be able to show proof that you have earned at least SGD 7000 in Australia within the last 6 months.

Then I will do for you what I have done for others. Email me and I will be your local address. I will file your application. It will cost S$10. If you are successful I expect a beer (or two) upon your arrival in Singapore. If you are not successful, then pay the favor forward.

Contact me offline (via email) for particulars.

Hi Strong Eagle,

Thanks for your offer. We are just weighing up whether we should apply for this pass first or try and score an expat job that will provide this. What are your thoughts / experience with this?
