Adult Soccer Leagues.

I had previously posted a question about the level of play for the leagues in Singapore. After reading it again realized it wasn't very clear about what I was asking. I want to get on a team or two when we move their in the summer. Are the leagues more recreational or competitive. I assume their are probably multiple leagues for various levels but wanted to get some feedback.
