Hey everyone I just joined these forums and arrived from Sydney just shy of over a month ago and really struggling to find cool places to make new friends. I moved over here for work and have just gotten my own place, which I am sharing with a German mate of mine who I work with.
Have been to a few places but people seem to keep to themselves and not interested in meeting people. I am not on here to pick up chicks or anything like that just keen to make some new friends, check out some places and hopefully enjoy a few drinks with some new friends.
Drop me a line or let me know if you have any cool places to check out.
Chris

Prince of Wales is a backpackers bar owned by an Aussie but I assume it has some sort of a link back to Wales seeing the name and the Welsh flag inside the bar.
A really good Aussie bar is the Boomarang.

Hi All,
I'm a 29 year old male Aussie and been here just under 3 months. Apparently there are some good bars in Holland Village but I haven't been down there yet.
Let me know if anything gets organised, definitely keen to meet new people.
Cheers,
Paul

oh yeah Boomerang sounds good, especially if they have some good beer.
Just don't want it to turn into an Aussie exclusive night, need to expand the crowd so we meet lots of people..
Kels will pm you

on second thought - we don't we all just meet at boomarang and go from there after we have a few drinks to start the night off.. I have a couple of other people I am meeting first so I will bring them along..

of course.. the last thing I want to do it make it Aussie only, if thats the case I may as well still be in Australia..
hoping to meet people form all over the world, or at least Singapore
I guess people seem to be keen to head there, I will most likely have a couple of warm up drinks and home before I head in.
What time is a good time to go out in Singapore so it's not too early..
