I been in SG for 2 years and have a 14 month old. I work 4 days a week but have fridays off and it would be great to start meeting other mums and for my daughter to spend some time with other kids. Anyone available? Dont mind where etc...

I recently moved here with my husband from California. Our daughter is 14-months-old and I am also looking for Friday playdates as I am working Mon to Thurs and have a full-time sitter on those days. We are in the Hougang area and don't have our own car, so meeting place would have to be accessible by MRT or bus.

The first poster never responded but I have met up with another mom and we've met once. We are going to try to do a play date this coming Friday in the Botanical Gardens if you are interested.

Hi all,
I just moved here with my husband and 14 month old son. We moved from Australia, but are from the States. I'm very eager to start meeting people, and to getting Calvin involved with some other toddlers. Fridays are perfect for us, too, although most days are pretty open at the moment.

There is a playhouse near Lavender Mrt for children to play.

Cafe at first floor and Resturant for mums to chill and catch up.

Maybe you should check it out.
