Hi Folks ...

Happy New Year, and welcome to the Year of the Rabbit ....

Last week we ended up at Arab street, so thought this week we could go their first.

Here is the plan. First, we'll meet at 8:00 at the control center (information booth) at Bugis MRT, and then head out for a Middle Eastern dinner on or close to Arab street.

Looking online for reviews, I found these 2 restaurants in the area:

Samar @ 11 Bali Lane

and

Amirah's Grill Restaurant & Cafe @ 14 Bussorah Street

but happy to accept recommendations from anyone who knows the area well. Anyways .....

Then, will go to the Blue Jazz Cafe - top floor - for drinks. For those that haven't been there before, it is fairly quiet on the top floor, and is generally a cool place to hang out.

For night owls, there are several bars a few minutes walk from there which stay open till the morning.

Hope to see all the folk from last week + a few older and new faces would be nice. Please bring along friends ...more the merrier.......

How is everyone from that Dempsey Road outing? Oh, and Happy Rabbit Year to you too. I may join you guys as I have never try any Middle Eastern food before
