i am also interested to meet up for german conversation practice (spent 8 yrs in switzerland) and speak passable german! but don't want to lose it being here...paulaner bar or brotzeit sounds great! wenn und wo?

Used to be reasonably fluent but feel I have forgotten a lot already!!

Hi all,

I just noticed this discussion and wondering if I could join in on any German-practice groups in case it has been going on. I'm also at a beginner level (A1.2 in Goethe), have been trying to learn for a while but find it hard to practice casual conversations in German and be corrected when I'm going wrong. Usually it's my weekly class and then no time for formal studies. An informal social group might be super helpful, if you are willing to tolerate my German that is

Haha.. i dont think this is what Nico has in mind when he started the post, but for German learners, lets get together with our lausy Deutsch.. (not sure who will correct us then!) Thinking to organize some brunch/ beers at Brotzeit just in tune with the spirit! Let me know if interested
