Hi there,
i posted somewhere else as well, but not sure where is best. I just found out i am pregnany (5 wks) and will be living in Singapore for only 2 months this spring (i will be 10-18 weeks pregnant). Just wondering if the procedure is the same in terms of choosing a doctor/hospital even if I am not going to be giving birth there? I just want to make sure I have some kind of prenatal care while I am there, but am not sure if I can just rock up to the women's clinic and ask for an appt.
all advice is appreciated! thanks for your help!

Congratulation on your pregnancy. There are quite a number of reputable OBs and Gynaes in Singapore. I am not going to be bias who is the better among them. The most important part is how comfortable you are with the Gynaes. If this is your first pregnancy, it is wise to read up by going for the search button on the top hand corner under the profile link and from there you can have a feel of who you want to choose.
Private hospitals like Mount Elizabeth, Mount Alvernia, Gleneagles, Thomson have Obs and Gynaes in private practise.
Government Hospital KK Hospital, NUH , SGH are comparable in terms of service and fees
