Acupuncture to help conceive

Hi

I have been considering trying acupuncture to help me conceive and I did go for an initial consultation at Raffles but I was sent away with $80 worth of herbs which I'm not really keen on trying (this is for something else) and was asked to come back to discuss the acupuncture.

I would like to know if anyone can recommend a specific doctor or clinic that they have used and had a positive experience with.

Many thanks

Hi,
I am now 24 weeks pregnant and had acupuncture before to help conceive. My acupuncturist is great and won't charge you $80 just for herbs (I assume that was their 'expat' price as Chinese herbs are actually quite cheap!)

I'll PM you her details :)

late reply but better late than never in case this ever gets rehashed again...

i recently spoke with a few MDs who attended the most recent singapore accupuncture course for medical doctors - it is their opinion that accupuncture does not help one get pregnant.

the best thing is to relax, stay stress free and try often. if accupuncture helps relaxes you, then go for it.

It will help if it's a big blunt needle!

But in order for it to work it has to be jabbed in repeatedly in quick succession until the injection is affected. :P
