Travelling to Singapore with 2 passport

So my family will be travelling to Singapore for a 3 months vacation to visit family but we're not sure if we should use the Singapore passport or Canadian passport to enter Singapore for the younger boys. My wife and I holds only Spore passport but the boys carry 2 passports.
I think using the Singapore passport is the proper thing to do but when leaving singapore the airport counter will ask if you have residency status since we do not have a return flight. Is it ok to just show the other passport then. The boys are below 10 and are too young to renounce their Singapore citizenship..so it's not an issue right?
Anyone come across this situation before and can provide insight to it?

First of all, your children have dual citizenship hence there is no difference or any significant repercussion of them using either PP.
If they use SG PP their stay is unlimited in SG, If they use Canadian PP without right of entry stamped on it, they will get either 30 OR 90 days SVP, to extend this to unlimited stay , all you need to do is go to 7th floor ICA and have the stamp on it, you do not even need to do a visa run to JB. They are legal on either PP.Bring along their BC as proof
Personally I would use the Canadian PP. Do not use the SG PP at all . I have gone thru the same without any issues at all.

The bigger problem would be if you are planning to have your boys avoid NS liability in Singapore as they are Citizens here. If they use their passport after the age of 11 they are screwed and will have to do NS. See the various threads on forum regard NS liability and Citizens overseas.
