Hi,
I'm new to Singapore (F 40's) and looking to meet new people and get out and about.
Have always wanted to take up photography, does anyone know of classes for beginners?

Hi,
Please be careful when you choosing your school.
My friend told me there are some photography schools like this one in Singapore
http://phocus.com.sg/
not providing professional photography classes.... They just want the money from your pocket !!!
Please ask more people before you pay.
Hope it helps you

I do share my photography tips and teach the fundamentals at no cost for a few times.
What we have been doing is to get a venue (or a cafe where each participant just order a drink as "course fee") or any other conducive place and I can share my lesson with a projector.
I like to share, so if you are interested, just get me a place and we can meet together to have fun with this common interest.
Cheers,
SP

Perhaps you would like to try courses at SAFRA or Photographic Society of Singapore. They are pretty established with a long history so I believe their courses should be credible.
