Best option for long term partner?

Ladies and Gents,

I've spent some time trying to figure out what the best option is for my long term girlfriend who has relocated with me from California to New York, and now New York to Singapore.

I would like to help her be able to stay here with me and pursue her interests. She has thought of possible jobs: substitute teacher, yoga instructor, or masseuse.

She will be heading back to USA in September for a wedding and returning that month. Given she is granted another 90 days we will have until mid-December to find a good solution.

The most apparent solution is a marriage. All the right “stuff”

what about a PEP

Have you considered a personalised employment pass (PEP)? Requirements are that you have drawn overseas salary equivalent to at least SG$7k per month in the last 6 months.

If approved, this would give your girlfriend the right to work in Sing for the next 5 years for any employer. (they just have to register her PEP with MOM when she joins them).

Take a look at the MOM website:

EPEC, as you are not 'married'. Just double check that the Uni she studied at is on the approved list. But do have a search through some of the other posts on EPEC's - it is by no means a guarantee of a one year visa.

The other alternative, as mentioned, is a PEP if she meets the criteria.
