Does anyone know the process for a expat to obtain a commercial wine import license?

You will need a liquor licence. This has to be approved by the police, but they are usually interested in where the liquor is to be warehoused.
You can look on Enterprise One website for advice on the permits.

Old post I know, but this is interesting.
I am thinking of starting a wine import business. I was going to do that in the UK but too much competition.
Here, well.
It's a bit of a pipe dream at the moment, but I'll look into it.
