Mobile phone unlock

I have a mobile phone from the UK which is a pay as you go phone and it won't accept my Singtel sim. It just says invalid sim. Is there anywhere I can get it unlocked in Singapore? Asked at a few places but nobody knows! help!

did you try sim lim square?or chinatown?

have you tried calling your original network operator in UK and asking them for the unblock code?
i've tried it with an american operator (t-mo) before on a few occasions and they've always given me the code.
i told them i will be travelling outside of the US and i need the phone to work there... ta da!

I second this. Sim Lim has a lot of people who can do it.
