Dear All,
May I ask if anyone has prior experience with Dr. Chi from Hatyai?
I will be going to do buccal fat, epi and latheral with him in September.
Can anyone advise how do i care for my epi and latheral?
How long will it take an estimated to heal and remove the stitches?
THank you!!

Hey leggybabe, I had lateral cantho done with Dr. Chi. The difference that you get form the procedure is extremely slight, he will tell you this as well, because the eye opens up from the side so you won't really be able to see much difference at all. I sitll think it was a good way to "open" my eyes up a bit though.
I didn't get epicanthoplasty or buccal fat with him ut I will in the future. The things that I had done with him were cheek implants(malar and tear trough area) and the lateral cantho. The lateral cantho took me 7+ days to remove the stitches and it HURT! It was one of the most painful things that I have ever gone through during the stitch removal but pain is temporary. Good luck with your surgery and keep us updated!
You're more than welcome to ask me more questions about Dr. Chi or the Hatyai place in general. I was there for quite a while and went to quite a few different spots so I became pretty adapted to the area and where all the hotels are etc.

HappyCamper!!
Am happy to hear from you!

Btw, i have drop you a private email.
Can i check if there is any places of interests in Hatyai that we can go visit during our stay there?
Any hotel you strongly recommend?
Am glad your exprience with Dr. Chi is a pleasant one, hope mine will be good like yours too.
Just a question after the lateral Cath, is there visible stitches..example black or dark blue thread hanging?
I am planning to go back to work on the 4th day, hahaha..
Hopefully my colleagues wont notice a thing!
Where did you remove your stitches in singapore?
How is your cheek inplant coming along, hope you are healing beautifully
I am considering a cheek implant too..hope you dont mind my questions!
Thank you lots!!

leggybabe, I answered your hotel inquiries in my email so make sure you check that!
The stitching of the lateral cantho is BRUTAL. The first day, every single time you blink it will hurt and yes, you will have these huge blue black threads hanging down form your eyes for at least 7 days. I would wear sunglasses if I were you and if possible, put off going to work because your eyes will look bloody and just downright scary. I think it wiill look obvious you got surgery if you go back in the fourth day honestly. I removed my stitches with Dr. Chi and the reason is that he says the removal is a very delicate thing and he recommends that he does it but if that's not possible he will write directions to another doctor so that you can give those directions to the doctor removing your stitches.
Make sure you read my personal email, there are important things i address in there.

Am interested in facial lipo and/or buccal fat pad removal . Still doing my homework !
Just a quick question, as I understand that many famous surgeons like Dr Nara, Puttisak, Chi are located in Hat Yai ... is it a safe place for foreigners? I've always been hearing the southern Thai unrest (and explosives are blind). Do advise !
Thanks,
Louisa
