I'm seeking some help on how to tackle this issue of nuisance after trying to talk to them couple of times, asking police's help and some officials and trying various sorts of advisories..Nothing Helped!! Its going on and on...

Is there anyone out there who faced nuisance of moving furniture or dragging them, banging on the floor(your ceiling) during late hours etc.. from upper floor neighbors and successfully resolved cordially?

I wish I could live in peace..

Thanks in advance.

You could repay them back by buying a long broom stick and banging your roof at odd hours to wake them up :D :D (like in the TV Series Friends .. ;) )

Make sure, though, that the upstairs neighbour are smaller than you are, else they're liable to take you broomstick and stick it where the sun don't shine.

I have exactly the same problem u have, but I contact the management office directly and let them talk with the upper floor, the police will not help in singapore bcs they are useless not like in the US the police can force people to keep noise down. No matter what happen, always ask for the third party's help, or collect evidence and worst thing is eye to eye, let them know how u feel.

gee, you mean Singapore police sucks ?? :(

You can always go to the NPP and report .. dont call 999 for sound nuisance .. ;)

And I am a bit suspicious as to what you smoke .. have been in instant-shutdown of out of parties, when, by 11.00 PM, the party didn't stop .. and cops turn up and say 'wind it down .. '

Wonder if you are living in Singapore or any other country ..

the issue with the OP - if he is in HDB, he can always seek help from HDB ..
