PET OWNERS: Importing dogs from australia

Has anyone done it before? i would like to keep a chow chow but i cant find a it anywhere in singapore. i have heard of people importing their pet dogs from other countries but i dont know how to go about doing it.
can anyone please share your knowledge with me on this? thank you very much!

You can start with AVA website .. and google along .. a lot of people have asked this same question .. and been answered I guess ..

I am very sure it is a very easy process, I have seen lots of Australian dogs in Singapore.
